This is a great opportunity to train in the field of manufacturing engineering, using state-of-the-art computer controlled machine tools to turn ideas into reality. Successful applicants will learn skills that are much in demand from employers, and build the foundations of a challenging and rewarding career in engineering.
We will pay you £5 per hour to work at our factory on the Rotherwas industrial estate 5 days a week with release for college as required, initially to study for a Level 2 NVQ in engineering. Subject to satisfactory performance, we will support you in further study to Level 3, HNC and beyond.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above, to include maths, English, and at least one science. The successful candidate will have strong maths skills, including a thorough understanding of co-ordinate geometry and an ability to visualize in three dimensions.
