PK Engineering has invested in the latest Redthorn Shop Manager PCS5i software system powered by Oracle. The networked system brings a high degree of flexibility through a windows based platform.

The production control system handles enquiries, sales order, delivery, invoicing, puchasing, planning, labour, costing, stock control, sub contract and inspection.
The inspection menu includes calibration and full traceability functions which are compliant with the requirements of the standard Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000.


CAD/CAM System

All CNC turning and milling machines are linked to a central computer for instant recall, modification and production. All programmes are routinely backed up on CD for security. The CAD/CAM system can accept electronic drawings for producing CNC machining programmes.
